The Chef's Table Didier Aniès, M.O.F

Elegance & Creativity

The Château de la Tour hotel is a wonderful private home. By appointing Chef DIDIER ANIES as head of its kitchens, the Château’s table becomes a must of elegance and inventiveness. As a highlight, a unique title in Cannes, DIDIER ANIES is Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2000.

In this setting, the table plays the exclusive card. It is open to outside customers. Every day, at lunchtime and in the evening, the menus offered are prepared by the Chef himself. Depending on the seasons, the market and the vegetable garden, it is above all the inspiration, even the imagination of the Chef that is the main factor. The place is so inspiring…

Passionate, he attaches importance to the work carried out by his team, with the ethic of creating a refined and delicate cuisine. The quality of the products, the seasoning, the cooking, combined with dexterity, all express themselves in the heart of the plate.

Originally from the South West, he comes from a family of wine growers. His first 10 years, spent in the countryside, built him up and gave him a taste for the terroir and the healthy life. In the park of the château, he has set up a vegetable garden and a herb patch, the harvests of which will enhance the finesse and authenticity of his dishes with their textures and scents.

And as the Château has more than one trick up its sleeve, there are three places that are dedicated to dining, according to the seasons: La Tour Gourmande & La Pantoufle de Veyre, the L’Araucaria terrace and La Pergolette.

La Tour Gourmande is the restaurant of the Château. It can accommodate up to 80 people. The glass roof allows sunshine or stars to flood into the room… depending on the time of day. Its alcove, La Pantoufle de Veyre, is reserved for lovers. Make sure to reserve… there are only 2 seats available !

The castle delights all palates !

The Lounge Bar, so cozy with its deep armchairs, offers a menu which includes a selection of house cocktails, detox juices, spirits, without forgetting the vintages of our châteaux…

On sunny days, the L’Araucaria terrace is the place to be for lunch, dinner, happy hour, and summer evenings. It is adjacent to the pool club. You can even be trendy and, among other things, try the delicious club sandwich or the hamburger from the Snack menu, all while scheduling a massage at the end of the day.

As for La Pergolette, it is a small, shaded terrace, which is perfect for breakfast in the morning. Lunches or dinners can also be held there (up to 20 people).

The Cellar of the Château

It conceals treasures that tempt the mind.

The wine list offers a wide variety of wines including some Bordeaux vineyards: Château Tour Saint-Fort in Saint Estèphe and Château Grand Ormeau Lalande-de-Pomerol

They are worth the detour !
